How to tune and harmonize your chakras using Tibetan singing bowls

Chakra tuning techniques are similar whether you are working with your own energy centers or assisting someone else. If you are working on another person, it is necessary for the person to lie down on a flat mat. A precondition for the maximum healing effect is physical relaxation. If you are working on your own chakras, even sitting will do. Of course, there should be a calming and quiet environment so that you can better concentrate on the played notes and fully feel them. Such an environment can be supplemented with candles, incense sticks, fragrances...

If you are aware of which chakras need balancing, you can proceed directly to the instructions for harmonizing and balancing the chakras If you haven't tried balancing your chakras yet, you might want to consider the following simple chakra awareness meditation to identify possible blocks in individual chakras:

Lie down or sit comfortably. When sitting, you have to pay attention to a straight spine. When lying down, do not place thick pillows under your head so that the cervical spine and head are in line with the rest of the spine. Take a few deep breaths through the nose and try to minimize your thoughts. You can possibly help yourself by focusing on one specific thing, your favorite place, your favorite color, etc. During this meditation, it will be most convenient to know the location of the individual chakras and their color in advance, so that you know which part of the body and possibly which color you should focus on. After a few minutes of relaxation you can go directly to the first chakra. Focus on the location of the first chakra. Be aware of the feeling created in you. What color does the chakra emit? How clear is the color? How fast does the chakra rotate? Is the chakra large or small? If you are not sure, give yourself more time, contemplate. Rely on your intuition and the inner feeling that the chakra evokes in you. Feel free to write or record your notes and continue with the second chakra.

Now when you have some overview about your chakras or you just want to harmonize your energy centers in general, proceed approximately as follows:

Choose a quiet and peaceful environment. You can supplement it with scented candles or sticks. Definitely skip the relaxing music. as it would interfere with the sound of a singing bowl. Take a comfortable position, just as you would in a chakra awareness meditation. To begin with, try to clarify the purpose of each session. It will contribute to a positive result.
Place the singing bowl as close as possible to the chakra you want to focus on so that the bowl has at least some stability. Do not play to the bowl very loudly near the head especially ears. For general tuning, start with the root chakra. Strike the tibetan bowl several times individually first, with small pauses and then let the sound of the bowl expire completely. Then you can begin resonating the bowl, slowly, steadily circling the stick around the edge of the bowl or simply continue with the striking. It is advisable to use sticks covered with leather or otherwise modified. For large bowls, it is enough to run the stick around part of the circumference of the bowl.
 
Visualize the assigned color of a specific chakra, its brightest and purest form. Alternatively, visualize the healing heat entering the chakra using the vibrations of the bowl. Imagine the vibration of the bowl as a cleansing and harmonizing tool from our Mother Nature and her treasures in the form of metal and its vibration. If you have any favorite affirmations, think of them. With smaller bowls, you can also help spin the energy in the chakra by moving entire bowl clockwise when playing. A physical feeling of warmth in the chakra being treated is a good sign. If several chakra bowls are sounded at the same time, the bowls should have some reasonable distances between them. Tuning or clearing chakras can take an individual approach. You need to experiment a little and find your favorite method.
