Production of singing bowls - photo gallery and video

In the following photo gallery, through a unique video and pictures, you can take a look at the blacksmith's workshop in Nepal, where the genuine Tibetan bowls in the e-shop www.tibetskemisky.sk also come from. You will see the entire process from heating the material to grinding the imperfections typical of manual production. As you can see, this is not an easy job. Making singing bowls is a labor-intensive and craft-intensive matter. Depending on the size, it can take several hours for one batch of smiths to forge one large bowl. It is not a mass production, as we might think. To this must be added color adjustments and subsequent long hours of precise and geometrically accurate engraving by other local artists. Thus, making a Tibetan bowl requires time, experience, effort and also the know-how of Nepalese artisans. Tibetan singing bowls have been made in these or very similar ways for centuries in the Himalayan region.
