This bronze gong in golden brown engraved design is made right at the foot of the Himalayas, in a blacksmith shop in Nepal, a country where metalsmithing has its ancient tradition. Skilled local craftsmen and artisans worked on it. The precise engraved decoration most often consists of the symbols of the 7 chakras around the perimeter, various concentric ornaments, geometric shapes and in the center the syllables of the Mahamantra Om Mani Padme Hum.
