Felt mallets for singing bowls

Felt mallets are a heavier and more powerful tool for sounding Tibetan bowls than leather sticks. They are especially suitable for larger bowls, from about 1kg weight and above, where they can evoke the deepest tones that a singing bowl is capable of. These deepest notes cannot be significantly played with a leather mallet. Felt sticks are not suitable for circling the bowl, they are only used for hitting. We therefore recommend purchasing the largest possible leather mallet in addition to the felt mallet for circling and evoking the middle and higher tones of the bowl.
